Or how do we convert your website to work on a mobile device?
Analysis
We will analyze your current website’s code as well as the Photoshop (PSD) files you will send us, in order to determine the best approach for converting it into a mobile version.
A properly created website should have a clear separation between the information that is shown on the website (HTML) and the way it is actually displayed (CSS).
Thus, in this phase, special attention is given to how the logo, main menu, background and the general layout where be created in HTML.
In case the website is not properly done from the beginning and there is no clear separation between HTML and CSS, we will make an extra offer to first fix the website and then continue with the conversion. At this point you can either decide to pay the extra invoice, or to get your money back as part of the 100% money back guarantee policy.
Implementation
Since at this point there is a clear separation between the information (HTML) and its presentation (CSS), we will continue with the implementation.
The existing presentation will not be modified, as it will be used for the desktop version, but mobile friendly versions of it will be created for each screen size:
- 360px used by Blackberry devices
- 320px used by iPhone and Android devices
- 640px used by iPad and Android Tab devices
Testing
After the implementation is completed, the website will be tested on all the devices you specified and any required fine-tuning will be performed
Deployment
After testing is complete, you will obtain a single patch file that you will only have to run it on your website, in order to install all the changes. It’s simple, and it works!
The patch will be accompanied by detailed instructions, in case you wish to perform the changes manually, without the installer.
What is not covered?
Due to the multitude of website plugins available on the market, regardless of what package should you choose, the mobile version will not include:
- styling of the forms
- styling of any widgets and plugins you might have installed
